AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Jewish armed settlers cut off 20 olive trees in Yatta village, south of Al-Khalil, some of them are 25 years old, local sources said on Wednesday.

They said that the settlers came from the settlement of Susia, south of Yatta, and added that they routinely attack Palestinian farmers in a bid to terrorize them away from their land and then confiscate it.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up four Palestinians in Salfit and Tobas districts at dawn Wednesday.

The IOF troops imposed a curfew on Jayus town to the northeast of Qalqilia at an early hour on Wednesday and started a combing operation.

Locals said that IOF soldiers mounting 12 jeeps announced the curfew via loudspeakers without giving a reason.

They added that the soldiers broke into and ransacked many houses.

The same practice was reported in Daheria village, Al-Khalil district, without arrests.
