Dwaik: No recognition of the Israeli occupation of our land

[ 22/01/2010 - 11:31 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- MP Dr. Aziz Dwaik, the Palestinian parliament speaker, confirmed Thursday that the meeting between him and British tycoon David Abrahams was made on the latter’s request, stressing that the Palestinian people will never recognize the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian land.

He also pointed out that the meeting with Abrahams was part of the PLC presidency meetings with international delegations and media convoys which is “something not new for the PLC”.’

Moreover, Dwaik categorically denied, in a press release he made Thursday, Hebrew media allegations that Hamas was ready to annul its charter and recognize Israel.

He stressed that the reports were false and added that, since his release from Israeli detention, the Israeli media has on numerous occasions misquoted him or attributed completely fabricated statement to him.

He said that what he told Abrahams, during the meeting, was that the PLO had annulled its charter and recognized Israel but this has achieved nothing for the Palestinian people, stressing that this would be the answer of any Hamas official regarding this point.

A number of international and local media outlets had quoted reports published by the Jerusalem Post newspaper alleging that Abrahams obtained significant concession from Hamas.

COMMENT
I have never liked this Dwaik character. His release from an Israeli prison a couple of months ago and the declarations he has been making since his release, are suspicious to say the least. I suspect that his release was part of a deal; expect to hear more from the "moderate" Papa Dwaik.

Guess What??

Besides Dewaik, he never liked Haneyeh, the "Habila", nor he Liked Mashall, the "windbag". He will never like Hamas as long Hamas is Hamas. Seven months ago, not "Two" as he claimed, Exactly On Friday, June 26, 2009, he claimed that Shalit Transfer to Egypt Imminent as Part of US Initiative and "Papa" Dewaik's release was a part of that deal.

[How can the Hamas fools fall for this? Egyptian "intelligence" is inseparable from the Mossad. Might as well give him directly to the Mossad and say that, "Hamas trusts the goodwill of the Mossad! What fools!]

Seven months passed and Shalit is still in Gaza. So there was no deal and if there is such a deal who fooled whom??

GUESS WHAT?? Israel has the right to exist but not as a Jewish State.

 Molly
No, guest, I don't think Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish only state, which is what they mean when they demand Hamas recognize its "right to exist".
