WSJ: ‘How to destroy drone shot-down by Iran’

On December 4, 2011 – Iranian

Army’s electronic warfare unit announced that it downed a US-built RQ-170 Sentinel stealth aircraft after it crossed into Iran’s airspace over the border with neighboring Afghanistan.

However, Washington denied that drone had been brought down by Iran either through hacking its control or by shooting it down. It claimed the drone developed mechanical difficulties and remote pilots lost control of the aircraft, and said officials knew immediately it had crashed in eastern Iran.

Now, US officials are worried sick that Iranian may learn, copy aircraft’s technology and manufacture their own version of the stealth drone.

Julian E. Barnes wrote in the Wall Street Journal (December 7, 2011) that the US officials have considered several covert mission inside Iran to retrieve or destroy the shot-down drone. However, considering all of them to be very risky - had decided not to go ahead with either of them. The covert missions mentioned by Barnes, are – One, send a team of US commando based in Afghanistan as well as using allied agents (Mossad, MI6, MK, etc.) inside Iran to hunt down the downed drone; Two, let a team sneak to blow up the remaining pieces of the drone and Third, to destroy the wreckage with an airstrike.

I have no reason to believe Julian E. Barnes’ consipracy theory. He is a Zionist who cooks reports from Pentagon for the WSJ which is owned by billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation. Last year, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) honore Murdoch for defending Israel. It’s possible, Barnes did not recall what happened to a similar US covert Operation Eagle Claw, on April 24, 1980, in which ten US military personnel died as result of desert storm even without the knowledge of Iranian airforce.

It’s not the US which is plotting against the Islamic Republic – but Israel since 1990s. Israeli professor Israel Shahak wrote in his book Open Secrets: Israeli Nuclear and Foreign Policies:

“Since the Spring of 1992 public opinion in Israel is being prepared for the prospect of a war with Iran, to be fought to bring about Iran’s total military and political defeat. In one version, Israel would attack Iran alone, in another it would ‘persuade’ the West to do the job. The indoctrination campaign to this effect is gaining in intensity. It is accompanied by what could be called semi-official horror scenarios purporting to detail what Iran could do to Israel, the West and the entire world when it acquires nuclear weapons as it is expected to a few years hence.”
