San Francisco’s MTA ad: ‘Support Israel. Defeat jihad’

San Francisco’s Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) has a policy against political ads on its buses, but not on this recent one put by Pamela Geller’s pro-Israel American Freedom Defense Initiative group. The ad reads: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad“.
The truth being in the eye of the beholder, ABC7 News showed the ad to Muslim’s going into Friday prayers at a San Francisco mosque. Adam Kennard called it propaganda. Ted Oriqat pointed out that the ad distorts the meaning of jihad. “Jihad, it doesn’t mean killing people or anything like that,” he said. And Oriqat is correct. Jihad means “struggle” and is frequently used as in “striving towards the way of God”, wrote Mark Matthews on August 10, 2012.
Earlier, the city system in New York had refused to run the ad and Gellen took the transit authority to court. “And interestingly enough, the day that I won, was the day that San Francisco approved my ads that are currently running on your buses,” Geller said.

The ad message reflects Zionist Jew Ayan Rand’s (nee Alyssa Rosenbaum) views on Israel and Arabs. Rand in an interview had called Israeli Jew “civilized people” and Arabs being “primitive savages”. Watch the video of her Zionist rant below.
Incidently, Mitt Romney’s choice for vice-president, Paul Ryan is a great fan of Ayan Rand. Rev. Dan Vojir, a blogger, has this to say about the Romeny-Ryan team:
“Romney and Ryan’s fiscal ideology has been at the core of America’s Christian Right for years: it was Glenn Beck who brought the animosity of the CR for “social justice” to the fore, but early in the last century, the Southern Baptist Convention’s involvement in Jim Crow laws and the Ku Klux Klan definitely had a monetary bent. White congregations were more affluent, more controllable – and more diametrically opposed to civil rights. Pat Robertson’s 700 Club ushered in a new age for televangelists and prosperity gospel preachers, the evolution of which has featured scandal and bling, but has never been halted”.
Eric Sapp, in an article, entitled GOP Must Choose: Ayan Rand Or Jesus, published in The American Value Network, a Christian Right Group, on May 27, 2011 – had called upon American Christians that they must choose between Jesus and Ayan Rand. He quoted Rand saying
she is out to destroy the Church and Judeo-Christian morality. She argued that people had to choose between following her teachings or those of Christianity and other religious traditions. Rand said religion was “evil,” called the message of John 3:16 “monstrous,” argued that the weak are beyond love and undeserving of it, that loving your neighbor was immoral and impossible and that she was out to undermine the idea that charity was a moral duty and virtue“.
Pamela Geller, an Israel-firster, is a well-known anti-Muslim Zionist blogger. Pamela Geller have called the destruction of Dome of Rock in Jerusalem and in 2010 urged Israel to nuke both Islam’s most sacred place, Ka’aba in Makkah and Iranian capital Tehran.

Pamella Geller, who was born to Jewish parents, Reuben (Ruby) and Lillian Geller – was listed one of America’s top ten Islamophobes in 2012 by no other than SPLC – a Zionist-controlled civil rights group.

The anti-Islam non-Muslims, secularist and the apologetic Muslims have failed to differentiate between Qur’anic terms “Jihad Fi Sabi Allah” and “Qatal (murder)”. The Jihad wss beautifully explained by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself. He is quoted as saying that the weakest Believer is who when he sees an evil act being done and does’t stop it but just feel bad about that in his heart; he would be a better Believer if he speaks against it – and the best believer would be who stop the evil by using force.
