Despite Gaza’s courage under fire Hamas puts a brake on the Palestinian ambition

I posted the article of brother Stuart Littlewood, and read the comments on it on deLiration.

With full appreciation for Stuart Littlewood, and all pro-Palestine activists, journalists, writers and thinkers I
disagree with Stu, and this is not the first time.

On  05. Sep, 2010, Stuart called: Hamas, don’t blow this chance.
"Instead of hurling threats of more violence, which only serve to reinforce opinion that Hamas is a terrorist organization, the words and deeds of the resistance movement should be carefully chosen to harmonize with the West’s values and beliefs."

"The world needs reminding how the refusal by that delinquent duo – Obama and Netanyahu – to sit down with democratically elected Hamas tramples on everyone’s democratic principles, not just the Palestinians’, and how their contemptuous attitude disqualifies them from ever again preaching democracy to others."
They could even consider setting up alternative, parallel peace talks to ridicule the US-Israel-Fatah axis and to produce an alternative, parallel final status solution based on justice… just for fun, or maybe as a serious counterpoint.

Hamas would also do well to frame their case in a manner that allows others, outside the Holy Land, to sympathize and feel persuaded that it’s time they were welcomed into the mainstream.

It is part of the re-positioning and re-branding process one hoped had already begun. But judging from those threats to step up violence they haven’t yet made a start.

I have the courage to admit that I was wrong about Hamas leadership. Two years later,  Hamas leadership did what Stu and others asked, but not for fun. I am sad to say that Hamas Leadership failed to learn from the lesson of 1973 war, Camp David and Oslo, and Mishaal would face the fate of Sadat or Arafat.

Zooming out of Gaza, and Palestine, I would claim that despite Gaza’s courage under fire Hamas puts a brake on the Palestinian ambition, and may lead under current Hamas leadership and its brothers in the Arab Spring to A New OSLO  wearing a beard, or call it, an Islamist's Camp David.

The so-called Arab Spring in Egypt delivered nothing but a new Mubarak wearing a beard, I would say a Mubarak cubed ( Raised to Power 3).

Like Mubarak he is a dictator, but, being backed by Egyptian and International brotherhood he is more dangerious. Unlike Mubarak he is a sectarian involved to his ears in the American aganda for new middle east.

The truce blessed by the Americans on Wednesday evening is intended to become a "Camp David" based on abusing the Quranic verses, wrongly understood and consequently wrongly transtated: "If they seek peace, then seek you''

I shall an extract the followi from a post I wrote commenting on Laura Stuart claiming that  "Success will never come from deviant"

Laura Stuart 'If they seek peace, then seek you 'peace.''

Go to all Quran translations you will find that the verses is translated like this: And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; and whatever thing you will spend in Allah's way, it will be paid back to you fully and you shall not be dealt with unjustly. (60)

'If they seek peace, then seek you 'peace. FORCE And trust in God for He is the One that heareth and knoweth all things.' (8.61)

Translation, in general, is based on Tafseer books. The above translation of verses (61), reflects how our Muslim leaders, and their puppet "scholars" used and abused the Quran to justify treason and taking our enemies as allies. The verses was used and abused by Sadat and his puppet Shaikh Shaarawi, to justify visiting Jerusalem, and the "Shalom" Camp David treaty, and to justify the so called Arab initiative, and now is used by your Islamist in Egypt, Tunis and Libya, to Justify taking Nato and the west as their allies.

The two Verses should be read together, let me do that using my mind not Sheik Arifi likes "pre-set minds"

And prepare against them what "FORCE" you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; and whatever thing you will spend in Allah's way, it will be paid back to you fully and you shall not be dealt with unjustly. (60)

Allah is asking "you who have believed," to prepare for THEM and others besides them(Your real enemies, not the so-called "deviant sects", look around you and you will see both THEM and OTHERS BESISES THEM) what FORCE you can.... to "frighten" them and others beside them.

In other words, the first verses urges us to acquire power to prevent aggression (Frighten -not terrorize) the enemy and others beside him. In modern terms: Achieve Power Balance.

According to syrian resercher Professor Mohamad Shahrour IT refers not to Peace in vesres 61, but to FORCE in Verses 60.

And if they incline to peace, then incline to it (FORCE, not PEACE) and trust in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (61)

In English "it" stands for both feminine, masculine, In Arabic Force is feminine, Peace is masculine, So if Allah is talking about peace, Allah should have used [ له not لها]
[ قال لها أي اجنح للقوة، ولو قصد الجنوح للسلم لقال له]

In other words: IF THEY INCLINE TO PEACE, THEN INCLINE TO FORCE, to keep the ememy frightened and prevent WAR.

May be Stu would say: Well thats exactly what Hamas did.

I would say, true, Hamas and other factions did it, thanks to Palestian freedom fighters and to IRAN, SYRIA, and Hezbollah, but SIR, Hamas leadership is looking for a long very long truce, and its Qatari God father, who tamed and brought Mishaal to the house of obedience, would turn Gaza into a new Dubia, "a lot of prosperity weaken the resistance".  and like what America and Europe did in WB, turn thousands of freedom fighters into an army waiting their salaries.

Bribing Hamas achieves two goals of the donor countries, first ensure turning Hamas into an independent authority in Gaza eager to serve Israel's security, and the second get it away from the axis of Hezbollah and Iran, who supported supported the ungrateful Hamas financially and militarily.

Personaly, I belive, Hamas succeeded in Hijacking the Victory of Gaza, but will not succeed in achieving what Arafat and OSLO one failed to achieve because the other armed factions will be a stumbling block in front, especially Jihad, so far, linked to Iran who pledged in its first release after the cease-fire that "the aggression does not mean the end of the battle," and that its potential military still strong, and its ready to continue the battle. Moreover, Hamas itself is not united behind Mishaal, Mahmoud Zahar, in his first appearance after the cessation of hostilities "The time of self-defense is over and it is time to liberate the land"

Palestinians, who turned the page of PLO, are able to turn the page of tired Hamas leadeship, and the Majority of Gazans are refugees waiting to return to their villages and towns occupied by Israel.
