80,000 Attend “Friends of ISIL” Meeting in Villepinte

TEHRAN (FNA)- The anti-Iran terrorist group, Mojahedin-e Khalq Organisation (MKO), has written a ‘Dear John’ letter to ISIL to openly express support for the terrorist group and their acts of terror in Iraq and Syria.

In the statement, MKO says any measure against ISIL would be a blatant violation of the UN Security Council’s agreements, while calling for an immediate end to the moves against the foreign-backed militants!

Strange enough, the statement – without making any reference to Iran’s all-out support and cooperation with Iraqi Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, tribes, army and volunteer forces – claims cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad in the battle against ISIL pursues anti-Sunni agenda!

First things first: MKO fled Iran to Iraq in 1980s, where it enjoyed the support of Iraq’s executed dictator, Saddam Hussein, and set up its camp near the Iranian border. The group cooperated with Saddam in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and carrying out the massacre of Iraqi Kurds. MKO carried out numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials as well. It was also involved in the assassination of Iranian officials and five nuclear scientists in cooperation with Israel and several Western spy agencies.

Now its support of ISIL equally gives a rare picture of the group’s new terrorist activities. It proves with hard facts that MKO members have two different faces: The fake one i.e., freedom fighters, they are so eager to depict during press conferences and official meetings in Europe; and the real one i.e., terrorists and criminals, they are so anxious to cover up.

Still, the cult group continues its radical activities against Iran with Western backing in places like France and UK. They even fabricated and turned over fake documents to German intelligence – sometimes called the “laptop documents” because they were said to have been on a laptop computer belonging to one of the participants in Iran’s nuclear program – in cooperation with Israel’s foreign intelligence agency (Mossad) to allege that Iran’s nuclear program is not peaceful.

The latest statement, however, is its latest surprise; yet further evidence of MKO’s deep connections with another terrorist group that’s so much hated by the international community. It is extremely important for two reasons:

Firstly, it proves MKO has now officially joined ISIL in the fight against Iraq and Syria. And secondly, it lets the international community see for themselves again that the so-called freedom fighter and anti-imperialist group has never been independent of Israel and the West. What’s more, the terrorist group no longer remains listed as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the US!

MKO’s bizarre statement and anger over Iran’s all-out support for Iraq in the battle against ISIL shouldn’t come as surprise to anyone. Given its dark past, no one should ever be surprised either to hear that Israel is training the MKO terrorists in Jordan along the border with Saudi Arabia in order to carry out acts of terror inside Iran and Iraq. They are receiving terrorist training from Israel and its agents in Jordan because that’s what they are.
