Hit but Steadfast!

 |
Once again death has come covered  with hatred and devastation that strikes a dear place  in Homs.

The city people celebrate the coming back  of their sons from Kwers Airport . The discourse of reconciliation process in al-Wa'er  is what occupies its sons who are eager to declare their city  free from terrorism and armed gangs.
To the beat of calm and comfort that are emitted in the hearts and souls as a result of the good  news  concerning the  army's victories and developing the local reconciliation process , a car packed with hatred and murder targeted the crowded al-Zahraa district.
The car had been parked in a bystreet near al-Ahli  Hospital and a gas cylinders center in order to cause as much damage as they could  for both human beings and buildings.
Haters achieved their goals as the blast has claimed the life of dozens and caused massive damage to a number of houses and  cars all over the place.
The fire burned hearts and properties... It returned the memories of death and destruction that have been  hardly forgotten by the people of this district.
In the hospital near to the site of the explosion I've seen the other view of what has happened.
Blood is everywhere, dozens of wounded and everyone runs to help an injured  or to donate blood for a wounded. The medical staff are strongly amazed for the number of wounded and the critical conditions of the injuries.
I saw a look of hope and  query in the eyes of the wounded. It is the hope that they will be cured   and the  query about the fate of those people who were with them.
Shock, pain  and the tears which are stiff in the eyes was the main and common feature to each person I have met there.

Everyone asks what is the guilt of those people? What did they do to die this way?
A young volunteer said: "We will take revenge and we will prevail against terrorism. We will declare Homs safe and clean of those assassins".
The blast caused massive destruction... dozens of homes have been damaged... the cries of mothers and fathers tearing the place looking for their sons in the rubble or even among the body parts scattered all over the place.
Hundreds of people were in the street trying to clean the place and remove the effects of the explosion. Everyone is determined to return to normal life considering what has happened is nothing but shake of a quake that had passed and they were able to remove its sad effects.
"A cowardly act. They were not able to face us  in the battle field rather they opted to hit the innocent and defenseless civilians.  Our Sincere will will prevail and we will defeat the evil tools and expel them outside our beloved country," said the father of one of the martyrs who died in the bombing.
"When  these criminals will understand and be convinced that Homs can not be extinguished and will remain insurmountable.
As Homs has always been steadfast in past crises it will remain so as its  sons will continue fighting against terrorism in one hand and rebuilding  their own city on the other hand.
Thanks to the bodies of their martyrs and the blood of their wounded they will fortify  their city against this barbaric  invasion that destroys both the human beings and the public and private properties", the martyr's father concluded..
